Mae is an OD/MS student at the New England College of Optometry whose research examines the effects of deployment-related toxic exposures on the visual system and sensory functioning. Building on previous studies of ototoxicity and auditory dysfunction, she is interested in understanding whether similar exposure-related mechanisms contribute to visual and sensory impairments.
